A large number of modern day applications require the use of variable speeds in order to guarantee optimum use. The application of the correct speeds guarantees a drastic saving in energy. For this we have the solution with the SIEMENS MicroMaster. Thanks to its modular design the regulators can be used in a large variety of applications and are extremely flexible in use. With capacities from 0.12 to 250 kW they can meet the latest demands without much difficulty. The SINAMICS G110 is a frequency regulator with the basis functions for industrial applications. The very compact SINAMICS G110 regulator works on single phase (200 V to 240 V). It is the ideal low-cost solution for the lower capacities.

Combimasters

SIEMENS

The Combimaster 411 is ideal for distributed controlling/driving applications that require a high IP degree of protection. It has been designed for use in a wide range of driving applications, from simple pump or ventilator applications to extensive multiple conveyor tracks, managed by completely network-controlled operating systems. The Combimaster is based on the MicroMaster 420 technology with a capacity range from 0.37 to 3 kW. The most important characteristics are: IP 66 protection, separate electronics, modular construction with several options, and integrated external potentiometer.

KUHNKE

Over the last few years KUHNKE has built up a great deal of knowledge in the area of information technology, freely programmable operating systems (PLC), pneumatic and electromagnets. As a result, KUHNKE has the possibility like no other to realise the construction, development and manufacture of integrated customer-specific solutions on its own premises. For example, in modern (para)medical equipment, distributed computing, such as intelligent mechatronic positioning technology, is often needed. The positioning drives from KUHNKE, including controls, motor management and field bus control are such intelligent mechatronic solutions.

Soft starters

LOVATO

Soft starters are the solution if electromotors must be controlled in a precise and intelligent manner. The LOVATO ADX series ranges from 12 A to 1200 A, whereby the range from 17 A to 245 A is equipped with an internal bypass relay switch as standard, which contributes to a substantial reduction of the heat generation in the switch cupboard. The range from 310 A to 1200 A is ready for the connection of an external bypass relay switch. The ADX series is very suitable for the progressive switching on and off of three-phase asynchronous motors and squirrel-cage motors, because of the low voltage, the torque control and the limiting of the maximum starting current. They can be operated remotely (via a modem or GSM modem / RS232 and RS485 interfaces) by means of your own PC. For smaller motors up to 11 kW (400 V) there are two compact mini soft starters available: types ADXM 12B (12 A) and ADXM 25 (25 A).

Danaher Motion Servo systems

DANAHER MOTION (KOLLMORGEN)

The AKM series of motors has been specially developed for mechanical engineering applications. The motors are characterised by good dynamics and the wide range of available torques and are equipped with a resolver or encoder as standard. Together with the DBL/DBK motors, the machine constructor can find the motor suitable for different applications, such as pick & place robots, packaging machines and turning and milling machines. The motors are connected to the Servostar drives: the Profibus, CAN open, Servos Ethercat or DeviceNet. Naturally they are equipped with optional PCBs, as is the Profibus among others. The drives are characterised by the extremely compact form and ease of putting into use.

MiniMotor servosystems

MINIMOTOR

These are ultra-compact servomotors with the accompanying controls. Flange size from 35 mm square in IP65 sealed construction and are also available with planetary gearbox attached. The rotor is equipped with permanent magnets (NeFeBr). The motor is thermally protected and equipped with an insulation class F winding in accordance with the VDE0530 standard. A 24 V DC brake is one of the possibilities. For these brush-free motors MINI-MOTOR has developed a matching arrangement. The Drivert 1000 is a digital arrangement with a PWM system and a sine-shaped current output. This makes high performance, speed control, torque and the position regulating achievable. CAN open interface according to DSP402 portal.

Rotating armature magnets

KUHNKE

Thanks to their very compact form and relatively high yield, rotating armature magnets with their fixed angle of torsion (25º, 35º, 45º, 65º and 95º) often provide the optimum solution in constructions where a repetitive rotation is required. With the round type D9 a starting torque of 204 Ncm and a final torque of 220 Ncm can be realised (supply 220 V – 5% ED). With the square E9 the torques are 480 and 490 Ncm respectively. The D series has a circular housing in 6 different diameters. The E series has a square housing. The UD series has a double magnet system and a through-going shaft whereby rotation movements to the left and to the right are possible using one magnet.

Pneumatic rotating cylinders

KUHNKE

Kuhnke also offers pneumatic solutions to realise fixed angles of torsion. The mini-rotors with a square shape have a fixed angle of torsion of 90º + 10º and are available in single-acting versions with a bore of Ø50 mm, and in double-action versions with bores of Ø35mm and Ø50 mm. The operating pressure of the Mini-rotors amounts to 2 – 8 bar. The robust double-action KUAX rotors are available in 4 different angles of torsion: 95º, 185º, 275º and 365º and operate on an increased operating pressure of 2 tot 16 bar. The bores in the cylinders used in these rotors vary from Ø32 mm, Ø40 mm, Ø50 mm and Ø63 mm to Ø80 mm. Various versions are available: A = standard version, B = with adjustable end buffering, C = with adjustable speed control and E = with electrical limit position signalling (micro switches in switch box). In general angles of torsion can be realised from 0 to 80 Nm (P=6 bar).

ESA Automatic switch

The ESA is an electronic programmable automatic switch for both simple and complex motion cycles. The big advantages are the high ease of programming and the cost-savings in controlling operations by deploying the ESA as local intelligence. Each user of the ESA can change the motion cycle using two buttons. Adjusting your machine for a new product is a piece of cake with the ESA. The ESA fits in all Compacta worm wheel gears but is also available separately.

Direct current regulating

AXIS & Stuifmeel

The Axi-Control is a universally applicable, quick to install, and easy to program direct current control. The control was developed for demanding business applications and is delivered with a hand-held terminal whereby the functions can be programmed, quickly and easily. The Axi-Control has four main functions (start, stop and both directions of rotation), but optionally pulse generators, sensors and limit switches can also be connected. For example, the Axi-Control works extremely well in combination with the extensive DC programmes from MiniMotor and OSLV and has its applications in the horticulture and recreation sectors, among others.
